BOMBSHELL: Historian Notices Key Phrase In Trump’s Jan. 6 Speech That Further Undermines Dems’ Case

(Republican Insider) – We all know President Trump did not incite any riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. If anything, it was the FBI that incited the so-called “insurrection.”

Democrats have been using the Jan. 6 incident as their catalyst to continue persecuting Trump and attempting to ensure he never runs for office again.

The only problem is, there’s no real evidence against Trump.

Just like every other narrative the Democrats and their media lapdogs have brought against him over the last 6 years, the Jan. 6 accusations are nothing more than a fantasy.

Presidential historian Constantinos Scaros has spoken out on Trump’s behalf and claims there are a number of reasons the Democrats’ argument that Trump incited the riot just doesn’t hold water.

Scaros is a history and political science professor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He wrote a book called “Trumped-Up Charges” in which he debunks 10 myths about Trump pushed by Dems and reported by the mainstream media.

“I wanted to show people and set the record straight that 100 years from now, history will assess Donald Trump fairly as to what he really did and what he really didn’t. And that’s why I wrote the book,” Scaros told The Western Journal in a recent interview.

Nearly half of his book is dedicated to addressing the claims that Trump is a racist and xenophobe as the Democrats have insisted since he ran for president.

Scaros discusses the propaganda that came from Biden and the left over Trump’s comments that there were “very fine people” on both sides of the argument in the aftermath of the August 2017, Charlottesville riot.

He also covers the media’s blatantly dishonest reporting on Trump’s so-called “Muslim ban,” as well as Trump supposedly calling “all” Mexicans “rapists and criminals,” and allegedly telling members of “the squad” to go back to their own countries.

The most interesting part of Scaros book is his breakdown of what Trump really, actually said on Jan. 6, 2021 that Democrats claim “incited” a riot. He provides three reasons why he does not believe Trump did any such thing.

The first thing in Trump’s defense are his own words. What he actually said at the Save America Rally and what the left has attempted to portray are two totally different things.

“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,” Trump stated on Jan. 6.

Democrats, however, have honed in on Trump saying “fight like hell” earlier in the speech. Scaros pointed out that while Trump did use those words, context matters, and when taken in context it actually provides yet another reason why Trump is not guilty of inciting violence.

“When he said ‘fight like hell,’ never mind that just about every football coach in the world uses that term, in the, in the locker room. He immediately then said, and not many people talk about this, he said, ‘And you know who fights like hell? Rudy Giuliani,’” Scaros recounted.

“Now, did he really mean that this frail guy who was pushing 80 is going to scale walls and break through windows? Of course not. He was talking about Giuliani’s tenacity to achieve a goal. He was certainly not talking about physical violence and criminal trespass.”

During his remarks, Trump said Giuliani’s “got guts. You know what? He’s got guts, unlike a lot of people in the Republican Party. He’s got guts. He fights, he fights.”

Clearly Trump was referring to tenacity not violence.

Scaros’ third reason why Trump is innocent is that he has too much political savvy to have wanted violence. Trump would have most certainly known that any violence would blow back on him and only hurt the cause.

“Certainly he knows that’s going to hurt him,” Scaros said, nor did Trump want to commit treason or have any reason to believe a violent “insurrection” would have ever succeeded.

Scaros concluded, “I think it’s important for Trump supporters to tell their friends and relatives, ‘Look, if you want to hate Donald Trump, hate him for things he actually did… Just don’t hate him for the things he really didn’t do.’”

And one of the things he really didn’t do was incite an “insurrection” on Jan. 6, 2021.

  1. Remember on J-6, only one shot was fired, it killed one of us an unarmed Patriot and it came from within… Let’s face it, the Democrats have performed the perfect Coup d’état! We are currently a Totalitarian Repressed State with an unknown Dictator!

  2. If the dirty Dems manage to steal the November elections, as they did in 2000, then I suspect there will be a drive to remove them forcibly from office. Since such action would be to restore legitmate government, could be truly be termed an “insurrection?”
