BREAKING: Warrant For AOC Issued… Nasty Secret Exposed

(Republican Insider) – What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander, unless, of course, the goose is a Democrat. In that case, what’s good for the gander is whatever the goose decides but the goose follows its own, entirely different set of rules.

Time and time again, Democrats prove how incredibly hypocritical they are. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is certainly no exception.

She’s made a name for herself as a “Democratic-Socialist” demanding that the “rich” pay their fair share, except it doesn’t look like she wants to pay her own fair share.

According to the Washington Examiner, AOC founded a publishing house focused on children’s books called Brook Avenue Press back in 2012. It was an abject failure and the state of New York dissolved the company in 2016.

However, while the business might have been dissolved, the tax debt wasn’t. On July 6, 2017, the state of New York filed a tax warrant to obtain $1,618 in unpaid corporate taxes from AOC’s business.

Now, five years later, AOC still hasn’t paid her tax debt and the amount she owes has increased to $2,461 as of Wednesday. A Bronx County Clerk’s Office representative has confirmed the warrant is still open.

In March 2019, the New York Post ran a story on AOC’s outstanding tax debt and a spokesman for the congresswoman said AOC would pay the overdue taxes immediately.

The Post questioned AOC’s aide Corbin Trent about the debt after it was clear she still had not paid two weeks later and Trent got agitated.

“I’m her congressional staffer, not her personal accountant,” Trent said.

Then, in another New York Post article over a year later, AOC’s office had completely changed up the story, claiming AOC was contesting the debt.

“The congresswoman is still in the process of contesting the tax warrant,” spokeswoman Lauren Hitt said.

“The business has been closed for several years now, and so we believe that the state Tax Department has continued to collect the franchise tax in error. As anyone who’s tried to contest a tax bill in error knows, it takes time.”

Not only was it a completely different response to the topic than the previous one but it’s also a pretty weak explanation. The state originally issued the tax warrant less than a year after the business was dissolved. Meaning the tax debt had been due for some time.

On top of that, the amount owed kept increasing because of AOC’s refusal to pay it.

We understand that $2,461 is not a major amount of money but it’s the principle that matters. While AOC screeches about the rich paying their fair share, she can’t even be bothered to pay what she owes and she’s not exactly poor or even middle-class.

AOC makes a healthy $174,000 per year as a member of Congress. That’s nothing to shirk at. That’s well above the average income of Americans and certainly enough that she should be able to cover her $2,461 tax debt.

The point is, she’s clearly not interested in paying it which makes her a pretty big hypocrite especially when you consider past statements she’s made.

After joining Congress, AOC proposed a 60 to 70 percent tax increase on the wealthiest Americans while talking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper on “60 Minutes.”

“There’s an element where, yeah, people are going to have to start paying their fair share in taxes,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Then there was her appearance at the Met Gala in 2021 where she wore an obnoxious “Tax the Rich” dress.

AOC is just a typical Democrat hypocrite.
