(Republican Insider) – Fox News’ correspondent Bill Melugin, best known for his work in reporting the truth along the US southern border, has asked for prayer for colleague, reporter Benjamin Hall after Hall was “seriously injured” while reporting from Ukraine.
“Please say a few prayers for our [Fox News colleague [Hall], who was injured today while news gathering outside of Kyiv. He is hospitalized right now, and we have no further details at the moment,” wrote Bill Melugin on Twitter.
Hall has reportedly been “seriously injured” during an incident near Kyiv on Monday, according to Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott in a statement.
“Earlier today, our correspondent Benjamin Hall was injured while newsgathering outside of Kyiv in Ukraine,” Scott said. “We have a minimal level of details right now, but Ben is hospitalized and our teams on the ground are working to gather additional information as the situation quickly unfolds.”

Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Irina Venediktova, posted a photo of a Fox News reporter’s press badge on Twitter and said that Hall is “in intensive care under medical supervision” after he sustained injury earlier Monday.
She also added that Hall was not at a Ukrainian military facility when he was “seriously wounded” and then accused Russian forces of targeting civilians. As of now, there is no indication as to whether Hall was injured by Ukrainian or Russian forces.

Hall, father of three young daughters, has been in Kyiv reporting on the war for several weeks, according to Fox News.
“This is news that we hate to pass along to you, but it’s obviously what happens sometimes in the middle of a conflict,” Fox anchor John Roberts said during a broadcast on Monday. “A Fox News journalist has been injured while news gathering outside of Kyiv. Very few details, but teams on the ground are working as hard as they can to try to gather more information.”
Roberts added: “A reminder, of course, this is in a war zone, that information changes very quickly and we are working as hard as possible to get the best information that we possibly can and get all the details on what has happened. The safety of our Fox team, of course, is of the utmost importance, and our highest priority.”
Several other Fox News personalities responded to Hall’s injury.
Host Brett Baier said he sent up prayers for Hall.
