(Republican Insider) – You know, there’s not a lot of things in life we can truly be sure of other than death and taxes, but one thing we can add to that list is that Joe Biden is to blame for the chaos at the southern border.
And there are 26 Republican governors who recognize this truth and are coming together to address the threat that this crisis at the border poses to their communities, because, like the rest of us, they know the government isn’t going to do anything to fix this situation.
According to WND, these governors are going to use the newly formed American Governors Border Strike Force to share intelligence and analysis of state-level crimes that are connected to the issue of border security, the Washington Times reported.
“Of major concern is the financing and mobility of cartels that smuggle people and drugs across the border to states across the nation, effectively making every state a border state. Fentanyl, in particular, has been flowing across the southern border amid record-high numbers of drug overdose deaths,” WND stated.
“The coalition is led by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who say they have been forced to intervene to plug holes in border security created by President Biden’s reversal of President Trump’s policies,” the report said.
Border security has always been a federal responsibility until the Biden Administration.

Ducey then stated that the American Governors’ Border Strike Force “will serve as a force multiplier in the fight against criminal activity directly tied to our border.”
“My thanks to my fellow governors who saw the problem and chose to be part of the solution,” he stated.
“Along with Arizona and Texas, the Times reported, the governors in the strike force are from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming,” WND reported.
A source spoke with Axios on Tuesday saying that Biden and his top agency officials are now considering not ending Title 42 on May 23, as was originally planned.
This measure, started under the Trump administration, has enabled border agents to turn away close to a million asylum seekers over the course of the last year who have come from countries that have been impacted by an epidemic, like the coronavirus.

Axios went on to say that administration officials have acknowledged ending Title 42 could end up bring about an unprecedented wave of illegal immigration. Which should then make it a no-brainer to keep the policy in place. But then again, that would ruin plans the Democratic Party might have for allowing illegals into the country so they can make them Democrat voters.
“At the White House on Wednesday, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked press secretary Jen Psaki if the president is discussing delaying the removal of Title 42,” WND said.
Psaki then stated that Title 42 is a health authority, which basically means the decision to end it or not is up to the CDC, and the administration is currently preparing for it to end. So it’s okay to bring this policy to an end and allow illegal aliens into the country carrying the coronavirus and causing massive breakouts, but it’s not okay to end mask mandates on planes? Do I have this right?
That’s because ending the one policy helps them win elections, while ending the other strips away power and control.
Psaki then noted that there are some Democrats who oppose the expiration of Title 42 and stated there are other ideas that will be part of the debate on the issue.
“Doocy also asked why Biden has confidence in Vice President Kamala Harris as his border czar despite the fact that March 2022 has seen 28% more migrant encounters at the border than March 2021, when she was assigned the task,” the report said.
“Psaki said Harris has been working on bilateral agreements with ‘transit countries’ through which migrants travel and their home countries as well as Mexico,” the report concluded.
