NBA Superstar Stephen Curry Calls Trump ‘Threat’ To Be Taken Seriously

(Republican Insider) – Well, Stephen Curry, a superstar in the NBA, has jumped on the bashing of former President Donald Trump in order to make himself relevant, proving once again how pathetic and brainwashed so many young athletes have become by the progressives who have infiltrated the sports world.

According to a story from Rolling Stone, “Stephen Curry has come a long way since the curious case of the government plot from outer space. Five years ago — after he’d won his second NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors, and right after Donald Trump had challenged him to a Twitter war — Curry was golfing with his buddy Barack Obama when the ex-president started joking about secrets of the White House, the kind you’re not supposed to take home to Mar-a-Lago. Obama casually lined up a putt, spun around, and deadpanned: “You won’t believe what the aliens look like.”

For some odd reason, the following year, after yet another title win, Curry appeared on a podcast where he cracked a half joke about how the moon landing might be fake. He went on to recount during the episode how he had been shown a conspiracy theory video when attending a Christian high school during his senior year with the purpose being “to arm us for defending our faith as we went into the world.”

He went on to say that he received an email from former President Barack Obama that said man did indeed land on the moon and that he needed to say something on the matter because he has a lot of power and influence in the culture. Curry then hosted a 15 minute discussion with an astronaut for the 23 million people who follow him on Instagram.

According to the Washington Examiner, Curry later went on to say, “Take Trump seriously? Of course. Most of his rhetoric — before he was president, during his four years, and even now, if he tries to run again — has a tone of divisiveness that doesn’t have a place in our country. As serious and loud as the threat is of him or whoever else is running for office, there’s a similar urgency and a loudness that’s necessary on the other side.”

The report went on to recount, “The Golden State Warriors basketball star had previously spoken out against the former president when Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank called Trump an ‘asset’ to the United States. In a February 2017 interview, Curry said he agreed with Plank ‘if you remove the ‘et’ from asset,’ according to the San Jose Mercury News.”

Oh, man…what a massive, epic burn from Curry. Wow. I bet Trump will never, ever recover from that one.

“In September 2017, Curry said he did not want his team to make the traditional visit to the White House after winning the NBA championship. Trump then withdrew his invitation to the team, according to CNN,” the WE report stated.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Trump went on to say in a post on social media. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

Curry is just a typical modern-day athlete who uses the realm of politics to draw in mainstream nincompoops to follow him and buy the products he endorses so he can maintain his status as a wealthy American. He cares little for the common man. It’s clear he has no understanding of actual political engagement. Yet, his lack of understanding and common knowledge considering that topic has not stopped him from speaking about it, has it?

  1. What would you expect??? The NBA, is clearly owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, in my opinion, and any American supporting them through any purchases of their activities is actively supporting the Chinese government, America’s known enemy!
