Not Long After Maxine Waters Told BLM To Be ‘More Confrontational,’ National Guard Gets Targeted In Drive-By Shooting

(Republican Insider) – The Minnesota National Guard fell victim to a targeted drive-by shooting over the weekend, just mere hours after disgusting liberal Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters encouraged Black Lives Matter protesters to be “more confrontational.”

Now, you and I both know that if a conservative had made this comment and a shooting happened right after like this, people on the left would be condemning our side of the aisle right off the bat and labeling it terrorist activity inspired by white supremacy.

But Waters will no doubt get a free pass from both the mainstream media and her colleagues in Congress.

According to a new report from Infowars, the Minnesota National Guard and local police officers were “providing neighborhood security” when someone fired shots at them from a white SUV around 4 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Two National Guard troops sustained minor injuries and one of them was taken to the hospital due to cuts received from breaking glass.

Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke stated that the incident “highlights the volatility” right now in the community of Minneapolis amid the BLM rioting that is connected to the trial of Derek Chauvin.

“I am relieved to know none of our Guardsmen were seriously injured,” Manke went on to say. “This event highlights the volatility and tension in our communities right now. I ask for peace as we work through this difficult time.”

California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters had traveled to the city of Minneapolis on Saturday where she issued the call for BLM to be “more confrontational” to ensure that they apply enough pressure to the jury so they will fearfully convict Chauvin.

“[Protestors] got to stay on the street and get more active, more confrontational. They’ve got to know that we mean business,” the California representative said.

“We’re looking for a guilty verdict,” she added. “And we’re looking to see if all of the talk that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd, if nothing does not happen, then we know that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice.”

“If we don’t,” the congress woman said, “we cannot go away.”

Now, if former President Donald Trump had said something like this, he would be labeled a violent extremist and insurrectionist. But hey, when you’re a Democrat, your whole party will ignore the obvious hypocrisy that exists between your words and your actions in order to preserve “unity.”
