Saudi Arabia’s Leader Gives Biden The Cold Shoulder, Turns To Putin Instead

(Republican Insider) – Under President Trump, the world was a much more stable, peaceful place. Trump got along well with leaders who traditionally are considered “adversaries” of the US. He was able to broker peace in the Middle East and kept a lid on Putin’s ambitions, as well as China’s.

With Biden in the White House, everything has gone to hell in a hand-basket.

The Taliban took over Afghanistan, Putin has moved on Ukraine, and now, thanks to Biden’s own actions, Saudi leaders are refusing to speak with him.

When Biden’s aides tried to arrange a call between Biden and Saudi leadership in regards to the global oil issues amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Saudi leaders outright refused, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Despite being a close working partner of President Trump’s, the Journal reported that the United Arab Emirates also refused to participate in a call with Biden.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the UAE’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan both said they had nothing to say to Biden.

However, the Journal also reported that Prince Mohammed and Sheikh Mohammed both received phone calls from Russian President Vladimir Putin last week and both spoke to him.

On Feb. 9. Biden spoke to Prince Mohammed’s 86-year-old father, King Salman, according to MarketWatch. A UAE spokesman said a call between Biden and Sheikh Mohammed would be rescheduled.

“There was some expectation of a phone call, but it didn’t happen,” a U.S. official who was not named told the Journal. “It was part of turning on the spigot [of Saudi oil].”

The Guardian pointed out that when Biden took office, he took a harsh tone towards Saudi Arabia. Even prior to usurping the White House, Biden said that he planned to treat Saudi Arabia as a “pariah” state and that there was “very little social redeeming value in the present government in Saudi Arabia.”

Now Biden is apparently feeling desperate after all but shutting down the US’s energy industry and with the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He’s calling on nations such as Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to increase oil production.

Why not rely on our own energy resources right here in the US? Oh, that’s right, because the Biden regime is actively doing everything in their power to destroy the US economy and usher in the New World Order.

The Wall Street Journal even called Biden’s desperate pleas with foreign nations for more oil “Biden’s Bizarre Oil Diplomacy” and noted, “He courts Venezuela and the Saudis, but not US or Canadian producers.”

“It speaks volumes about this administration that it’s seeking help from Vladimir Putin’s client in Venezuela and our estranged Saudi allies rather than U.S. shale producers or our Canadian friends,” the editorial said.

Meanwhile, the crown prince made his indifference to Biden known during an interview published this month in the left-leaning Atlantic.

When asked if the Biden administration does not understand him, he responded, “Simply, I do not care.”

He further said that he believed putting distance between Saudi Arabia and the US would haunt Biden.

“It’s up to him to think about the interests of America,” he said. “Go for it.”

As gas prices continue to rise, however, Biden just might attempt to repair the relationship with a visit to Saudi Arabia, according to Axios.

The fact that Biden refuses to unleash the full potential of America’s own energy sector is beyond reprehensible.

Good for the crown prince in giving Biden the cold shoulder.
