Shock! Doctors Given Bonus To Euthanize COVID Patients

(Republican Insider) – Just when you think you couldn’t possibly hear anything more nutty about the whole COVID-19 pandemic and the junk the radical left is willing to do to folks in order to maintain control of the population through fear mongering, along comes the government of New Zealand to take things to a whole new level of sick and twisted.

According to a report from WND, the government in New Zealand has admitted that patients who are admitted to the hospital due to the coronavirus can actually be killed through euthanasia.

Folks, this is how radical progressives think. Do not be so naïve as to think something like this couldn’t happen here. We already know the left is obsessed with the government in the U.S. becoming a single-payer system, which in time would require panels that would ration healthcare and essentially give these “elites” the power to decide who gets medical care and who doesn’t.

“In November, anti-euthanasia group #DefendNZ asked the New Zealand Ministry of Health (MOH) questions about the practice of the nation’s End of Life Choice Act (EOLC Act). One of these questions was, ‘Could a patient who is severely hospitalised with Covid-19 potentially be eligible for assisted suicide or euthanasia under the Act if a health practitioner viewed their prognosis as less than 6 months?'” the report said.

The EOLC Act says that an individual who has a “terminal illness that is likely to end the person’s life within 6 months” may die by euthanasia. A person’s eligibility for both assisted suicide or euthanasia is determined by an attending medical practitioner and also an independent medical practitioner.

The government graciously hands out a $1,000 fee, plus expenses, to doctors for each person they kill through euthanasia.

“The MOH confirmed that such patients with COVID could be killed by lethal injection under the new euthanasia law. This includes patients who are considered to be dying from COVID or those who have extreme suffering from its effects. The MOH stated, ‘A terminal illness is most often a prolonged disease where treatment is not effective,'” the report continued.

News publication Scoop also noted that, “[T]here is nothing concrete about the phrase ‘most often’, in fact, its inclusion in this specific context clearly seems to suggest that the MOH considers the definition of terminal illness to be subjective and open to interpretation.”

Along with this, the MOH thinks that the determination of whether or not a condition is “terminal” should be left up to medical practitioners.

“In light of this vague interpretation, it is reasonable to suggest that COVID-19 could be classified as a ‘terminal illness’ depending on the prognosis of the patient and the subjective judgments of the AMP and independent medical practitioner. This feels like we’ve been sold one thing, and been delivered another,” #DefendNZ spokesperson Henoch Kloosterboer went on to say.

The MOH then told #DefendNZ that, “Eligibility [for assisted dying] is determined on a case-by-case basis; therefore, the Ministry cannot make definitive statements about who is eligible. In some circumstances a person with COVID-19 may be eligible for assisted dying.”

Not everyone is supportive of this sort of measure. UK Baroness Finaly of Llandaff, who is a professor of palliative medicine, stated that the euthanasia law in New Zealand contradicts the whole purpose of medicine, which is to heal the sick.

“It is bizarre that a country which has been trying to protect [its] citizens by closing down completely from a virus from which people can fully recover … is now suggesting that these patients should be killed by their doctors. It turns the ethos of medicine on its head.” She remarked, “You really cannot predict death 100 per cent. So why not support them while they are dying and leave the door open in case they are in the group that defies all odds and recovers completely.”

According to a report that was put out by the Catholic Herald, only 96 of 16,000 doctors in the country of New Zealand have stated they will participate in assisted death.

This is sickening, folks.

COVID is an illness with a 99 percent survivability rating. If governments around the world would stop pushing vaccines and start pushing treatment like Ivermectin, thousands of lives would be saved. These people in the medical field are not doing their jobs.
