BREAKING: Vietnam War Vet Dies After Hospital Ignored Court Order For Ivermectin

(Republican Insider) – The left has been on a mission to demonize any medicine that safely and effectively treats COVID-19 such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

Recently, the dishonest mainstream media has been reporting that ivermectin is a veterinary drug but the reality is that there is a version for animals and a version for humans.

Physicians worldwide have been using the drug to safely treat COVID-19 and more than 100 scientific studies prove it’s both safe and effective in the treatment of the virus yet the mainstream media and medical tyrants on the left insist on fighting against the use of the drug.

Gee, wonder why?

Now, a 74-year-old Vietnam War veteran has died in Texas after a hospital refused to treat him with the drug that potentially could have saved his life. What’s worse is the hospital was under court order to administer the ivermectin and still refused to do so.

Veteran Pete Lopez (pictured here) was put on a ventilator Aug. 19 at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital outside of Houston after testing positive for COVID-19.

The hospital, while maintaining it cannot comment on specific cases, said, “It is important to note that physicians diagnose and treat patients consistent with best medical practices… The FDA has not authorized or approved Ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19. Data currently available does not demonstrate that Ivermectin is safe or effective against COVID-19 infection.”

Of course, this is blatantly untrue.

Gabrielle Snider, a granddaughter of Lopez, said in an interview with a local news station that the hospital “took away from my grandfather and us, his family, the opportunity to know whether or not that drug would have worked for him.”

If you thought that it was your right to have a say in your own medical treatment or that of your loved ones in America, you better think again. Full-blown socialized medicine appears to be here.

In Ohio, a judge ruled that a hospital must treat a 51-year-old COVID-positive patient on a ventilator with ivermectin as it was even prescribed to him by a doctor. The order was only temporary, however, and when it ended another judge ruled that the hospital cannot be compelled to treat anyone using ivermectin.

Despite being prescribed by a licensed physician, the hospital ultimately got to decide whether or not to administer the ivermectin. The judge in this case, Judge Michael Oster Jr, concluded that judges should not be responsible for determining medical treatment.

Health agencies like the FDA, CDC and American Medical Association have somehow ended up being the most powerful entities in America despite having zero elected officials running them.

The American Medical Association has advised doctors to stop prescribing ivermectin to COVID patients but there appears to be no valid basis for this recommendation.

The American Association of Physicians and Surgeons has pushed back on the AMA’s decision in a letter directed to AMA President Dr. Gerald Harmon. AAPS Executive Director Jane Orient asserted that the AMA is “contradicting the professional judgment of a very large number of physicians, who are writing about 88,000 prescriptions per week.”

“AMA claims that ivermectin is dangerous and ineffective despite the safe prescription of billions of doses since 1981, and the mostly favorable results of 63 controlled studies in COVID-19,” she wrote.

Orient noted the AMA doesn’t recommend any early treatments for COVID-19, and AAPS members “would appreciate clarification of the AMA’s stand.”

These health agencies are political entities doing the bidding of the radical left and globalists who are behind the entire COVID-19 charade. Nothing they say or do has anything to do with health or safety at all but rather control.

It’s time for these agencies to be held accountable but that will never happen as long as the Biden regime remains in power.

  1. Ivermectin doesn’t fit the narrative that the medical “experts” are putting out. That’s why such treatment is unavailable here, even if it could cure COVID. Instead, they’re focused on the “jabs” (the so-called vaccinations). These “jabs” are questionable at best.

  2. “The judge in this case, Judge Michael Oster Jr, concluded that judges should not be responsible for determining medical treatment.” So, why did Judge Oster ‘determine’ the hospital could stop giving a patient a drug? Shouldn’t he have just butted out?

  3. The hospital Administrator, like the captain of a ship, is responsible for the ship and what happens on, or in, the ship. Arrest the Administrator and, because he ignored a court order otherwise, resulting in a death, charge the Administrator with Voluntary Manslaughter and anything else that will stick. Once charged, start proceedings to revoke his/her medical license and fire it for cause!

  4. This isn’t a jeopardy question for malpractice litigation against the hospital
since ivermectin was prescribed by the victim’s physician! This is premeditated murder!

  5. I hope the family will sue the hospital for a ton of money. I know it will not bring their love one back, but that hospital needs to pay for their inefficiency.

  6. My daughter is taking Plaquenil for rheumatoid arthritis. That is also the medicine that Trump recommended due to a high success rate for Coronavirus. She has a very compromised immune system due to radiation and chemo destroying her thyroid many years ago. Several weeks ago, she noticed that she had lost her sense of taste and smell, so she purchased an OTC test for Coronavirus and tested positive. She called her employer, Walmart, and was told to self-quarantine for 2 weeks. The local health agency said 10 was enough, but she was already scheduled out for 14. She had no other symptoms, but we credit the Plaquenil for her virtually asymptomatic status. She and my son wanted me and my wife to take the jab, so we did just to pacify them. That will not happen again, because Moderna knocked my wife for a wall-eyed loop. That 72-year-old woman began to menstruate heavily. The CDC finally retracted their assertion that the vaccines were not the cause when women all over the world began complaining. The second jab is reportedly worse. No thank you. We will pray and trust God.

  7. there is a problem in the thought system in America when somebody gets murdered injured deliberately and many other ways The Same Solution is always sought. sue sue sue. yes, you get some money and for many that is the ultimate goal. That surely is the Goal for Lawyers Look at any poster bill board or commercial But is it the solution is it truly a remedy is that justice. absolutely not. monetary should and could be a part but it certainly is not justice. it just boils down to getting some money

  8. I took the time to write to the CDC, asking for their side of the story about Ivermectin, and its uses in humans. Their reply to me follows. As with everything scientific, there always is some skepticism about something “doing this”, or “not doing this”, and that’s what makes the world go around. But when it comes to something that laymen are speculating about taking internally, it seems to me that one should always at least accept the rudimentary evidence concerning drugs. For example, as per their comments below, if Ivermectin is being studied as to its efficacy concerning Covin-19, and has YET to be approved for that purpose, then I suggest that, even though some unauthorized use has successfully treated Covid-19, the use of Ivermectin should be considered as experimental, and the participant should be willing to accept what negative results may happen. See the comments below.
    Dear Sherwood,

Thank you for writing to the Division of Drug Information in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).

While there are approved uses for ivermectin in people and animals, it is not approved for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19. You should not take any medicine to treat or prevent COVID-19 unless it has been prescribed to you by your health care provider and acquired from a legitimate source.

FDA has issued the following public statements and resources related to Ivermectin and COVID-19:

FDA Letter to Stakeholders: Do Not Use Ivermectin Intended for Animals as Treatment for COVID-19 in Humans
FAQ: COVID-19 and Ivermectin Intended for Animals

A recently released research article described the effect of ivermectin on SARS-CoV-2 in a laboratory setting. These types of laboratory studies are commonly used at an early stage of drug development. Additional testing is needed to determine whether ivermectin might be appropriate to prevent or treat coronavirus or COVID-19.

Please understand that, in general, FDA does not conduct clinical studies. In order for a human drug to be marketed in the United States for a certain use (such as ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19), an organization or company (also called the sponsor) must submit a New Drug Application to the FDA demonstrating the drug is both safe and effective for its intended use. A new use for a previously approved drug may also require a New Drug Application. Through review of the New Drug Application and data submitted by the sponsor, the FDA determines whether the evidence is sufficient to demonstrate safety and efficacy of the drug for the intended use. To get a general idea of what information is required to prove safety and efficacy please see The FDA’s Drug Review Process: Ensuring Drugs Are Safe and Effective.

FDA remains actively engaged with partners across the U.S. government, academia and regulated industry to expedite the development and availability of critical medical products to prevent and treat this novel virus – this work includes collecting data in a variety of ways to both evaluate the safety and efficacy of potential therapies and facilitate emergency access for patients, as appropriate.
