(Republican Insider) – Joe Biden is not a man who is well known for his honesty. After all, this is the same man who claimed he attended Delaware State University, only to have the institution itself say he never attended the school. And that’s just one of many whoppers this guy has told during his time as a politician, and that’s a long, long time.
According to The Western Journal, Biden recently traveled to Poland to meet with leaders and other humanitarian workers who are trying to facilitate the flood of refugees coming into the country from Ukraine as the Russian invasion of the country continues.
During his time in Poland, Biden visited with U.S. troops who have been relocated close to the border that the country shares with Ukraine in order to help with the current refugee crisis and seemingly hinted that they would be sent into Ukraine.
Biden then flat out lied right to their faces with a personal anecdote that he’s blabbed about more than once, which has been debunked multiple times.
“In other words, as our service members and their loved ones — not to mention the whole of the western world — wait on edge to see if the United States might enter the conflict and potentially prompt the beginning of WWIII, Biden blissfully lied to the faces of the troops he was clumsily trying to signal his support for,” the Western Journal reported.
“While discussing the service and sacrifice of the troops over the last several decades, whom he quite rightly identified as the ‘finest fighting force in the history of the world,’ he talked, as is his wont, about his own connections to the military and experiences visiting with service members and U.S. bases in the Middle East,” the report continued.
“The second time I’ve flew in — I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan about 40 times — 30-something times — 38 times,” he went on to tell members of the 82nd Airborne on Friday.

Guess what? Biden has actually only been to Iraq and Afghanistan 21 times during his lengthy time in the Senate and as vice president for former President Barack Obama, a fact pointed out by PolitiFact after the State of the Union address last month when Biden went off script and stated he had been to that region of the world over 40 times.
“I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan over 40 times,” he commented to the joint session of Congress.
“That’s right — just weeks ago, during the most important executive speech of the year and while the Ukraine crisis was unfolding in Europe, Biden doubled a figure that was meant to be reflective of his experience visiting active American military operations overseas. Then, when he was visiting our troops overseas, just 60 miles away from the makings of the next great western military conflict, he cited the false figure again,” the WJ report stated.
“Biden has traveled to Afghanistan and Iraq many times, including to visit his son who was serving in Iraq. But his statement nearly doubled the number of trips. And it’s not the first time Biden has embellished the number of times he’s traveled to the two countries,” PolitiFact went on to say in a report released on Mar. 6.
And that wasn’t the first time this little lie has been told.
Back in 2019, while Biden was on the campaign trail, The Washington Post reported on what they called a “moving but false war story,” that the then-presidential candidate told to a crowd in New Hampshire concerning of his many trips to the country of Afghanistan, which was so mixed up with different incidents and falsehoods that it was basically rendered completely untrue.
“‘This is the God’s truth,’ Biden told the crowd after he gave a heart-wrenching retelling of having (supposedly) made his way into the Konar province to pin a silver star on a heroic officer who had risked his life to save a fallen brother who shouted at him not to do it because the fellow warrior had died,'” the WJ report continued.
“My word as a Biden,” he then declared. Does he really not know just how worthless a Biden’s word has become these days? Is he really that out of touch with reality?
The campaign was later forced to confirm this story was not the “God’s honest truth.”
The Post pointed out that “almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect.”
“Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened,” the publication reported.
While he delivered these comments, Biden also told the crowd he had been in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq 30 times, which, again, the campaign was forced to clarify as being only 21 times.
“President Joe Biden has a problem with telling fake stories. He has dramatically exaggerated an incident in which First Lady Jill Biden was once caught in a house fire, which was, in reality, a small, quickly contained blaze that posed no threat to Mrs. Biden,” the report stated.
How does this not worry the folks who voted for this man? You have a guy who is prone to lying sitting in the most powerful political office in the country as we sit precariously close to the edge of World War III.
