Will Tucker Ever Run For President? Fox News Superstar ‘Flirting With 2024 Run’

(Republican Insider) – It seems pretty definite that either President Trump or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will be sitting at the top of the Republican ticket come 2024. The two are neck and neck with each other and collectively and individually blow all other competition out of the water.

However, there seems to be one other figure who just might intrigue voters enough to have a serious go at it. That is, if he actually went for it.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has consistently maintained that he has no interest in running for president and even earlier this month said he’d never run for president, saying, “I’ve never been motivated by the power to control people.”

Something might have changed for Carlson though. On Friday, when asked if he would run for president, Carlson didn’t give a definitive “no” and instead seemed to give an explanation laying out the reasons why he just might.

Carlson was part of a panel at The Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, when he was asked outright if he would be returning to the summit in 2024 as a presidential candidate.

“When you come back to next year’s summit, will you be the Fox News TV host interviewing potential presidential hopefuls, or will you be a presidential hopeful?” the interviewer asked.

“God knows what the future holds,” Carlson answered with laughter. After chuckling at the idea, he got serious and explained what he believes to be the biggest problem facing the US.

“The people I’m maddest at in the world are the people who don’t do their duty and leave the vulnerable exposed,” he said.

“It’s the dad who leaves his kids — that’s a guy, I’d just like to punch him in the face. I mean it because that’s your duty. Those are your children, and you left. You don’t care about them.”

“That’s the most basic violation there is. It’s not what the enemy does to you; it’s what people charged with ensuring your welfare do to you.”

Tucker then made the connection between the father who abandons his children to the elected representatives who go to Washington DC on behalf of the people who elected them only to abandon their duty to them.

“There’s a reason that Republican voters chose Trump,” Carlson said.

“The average Republican voter is not represented in a meaningful way by his or her leaders in Washington, and I cannot stress that enough.”

Carlson appears to be explaining why he might just feel compelled to run for president in 2024, however, there’s a good chance he’ll be staying exactly where he’s at currently at Fox News.

He stated, “I have every intention of staying in the job that I’m blessed to have, but I’m going to keep hammering that, not because I want to weaken the Republican Party, no, because the Republican Party is our only option. That’s it,” he said.

“We need immediate attention and help. This is an SOS moment.”

It truly is an SOS moment. While Republicans claim to be on the good side fighting for Americans, the truth is, many of them have and currently are betraying their own constituents.

Some are doing it openly like Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) while others are doing it less blatantly and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to identify who is genuinely fighting for us and who is just putting on a façade.

America is in desperate need of true leaders with honor, dignity and principles to fight for us and this country.

  1. I think he would make a good Speaker of the House. Democrats, that is those at the top might take a hike to another country.
Actually, he is doing very well as broadcaster on tv.

  2. @Sandra. Speaker doesn’t pay enough for him to leave Fox. I do agree with him going after Kevin McCarthy. I do not want McCarthy as Speaker. He’s been bought by social media and is in bed with their money so he’s already compromised before he ever assumes that position. We need Jim Jordan as Speaker. He would do a good job and would also be two positions away from the Presidency which would not be a bad thing either. He would be a great President also.

    • Not if he does what the current speaker is doing, i.e resort to insider trading. But that is not Tucker Carlson. He is not corrupted like the present speaker.
I honestly think he is doing very well uncovering all the rot that’s going on.
