Border Patrol Agents Speak Out! You Won’t Believe What They Just Said About Senate Funding Deal

(Republican Insider) – Several rank-and-file members of the Border Patrol are very displeased about the new Senate funding bill that was released late on Sunday evening, sharing their frustration with the Daily Caller News Foundation, saying the legislation would allow the border crisis to continue unabated. Which in all honesty makes the bill completely useless, as that is the whole point of trying to get funding to take care of this particular issue. It seems fairly clear that the federal government under the leadership of President Joe Biden is purposefully allowing illegal aliens to invade the country for their own benefit.

Yes, the left is using these people as political pawns. Any attempt to stop it is twisted into false narratives designed to make the right look like a bunch of racists, which isn’t true at all. We’re actually trying to save lives. Many people have died, including children, in attempts to gain access to the interior of the United States through the southern border. Of course, all that matters to liberals is getting as many of these folks into the nation as possible to beef up the population in certain states and gain more voters.

“The Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 allocates funding toward adding more personnel to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), detention beds to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, expelling certain illegal migrants and enhancing fentanyl interdiction. Four rank-and-file Border Patrol agents told the DCNF that the ‘catch and release’ of illegal immigrants will continue if the bill is implemented, because it allows for the release of family units and single adults that show a credible fear of persecution should they return home,” the report noted.

“Now that I’ve seen more of it, they can respectfully go f*** themselves. The more I’m seeing the more it just puts what they’ve been doing in writing. You want to shut this down, it’s real easy. Team up [the Department of Defense] with DHS and let us enforce like we were supposed to,” one agent remarked when giving comments to the DCNF. “I feel like we are the only nation in the world that is this dumb about the border. Maybe it’s because we haven’t.”

The union for the Border Patrol has come out in favor of a portion of the new legislation that would provide funding for border security stating it’s “not perfect, but far better than the status quo.”

“The bill would mandate that one member of each family released from Border Patrol custody will be tracked using Alternatives to Detention, which uses ankle monitors, phones and wrist watches to monitor them while in the country, according to the bill,” the piece continued.

Resident Fellow in Law and Policy at the Center for Immigration Studies, Andrew “Art” Arthur, spoke with the DCNF, saying migrants will be set loose in the country if they claim that they are scared to return to their country of origin without seeing an immigration judge, affirming that catch and release is most definitely happening.

“In recent years, Border Patrol has recorded high levels of illegal immigration. Agents recorded more than 2.2 million encounters of migrants crossing the southern border illegally in fiscal year 2022, a new record, more than 2 million in fiscal year 2023 and more than 629,000 between October and January, according to federal data,” the Daily Caller disclosed.

“It’s a load of bull****,” a second agent asserted to the DCNF. “We don’t need a border bill, we need to enforce the laws on the books.”

“Unaccompanied minors and families released, that’s unacceptable. They need to be removed,” the second agent stated.

The bill provides money for building a “steel bollard pedestrian barrier” along the southern border, but does not call for the establishment of a wall. Look, the wall is absolutely necessary. There’s no way to stop these illegals from entering the country otherwise.

A third agent declared that the bill is, and I quote, “horse****.”

A fourth referred to the releasing of individuals and families on the basis of fear claims “BS.”

“Another loophole that aliens are going to abuse,” the fourth agent continued.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, of course, is thrilled about the Senate deal.

“The bipartisan agreement in the Senate is tough, fair, and takes meaningful steps to address the challenges our country faces after decades of Congressional inaction,” he proclaimed. “It would allow DHS to remove more quickly those who do not establish a legal basis to remain in the United States, reducing the time from years to months.”

“It would expedite protection and work authorization for those with legitimate claims. It would provide flexibility to respond to changing dynamics at the border, including temporarily prohibiting border entries for certain individuals when encounters are extremely high. It also delivers much-needed resources to support and expand the DHS workforce after decades of chronic underfunding, and it further invests in technology to help prevent fentanyl from entering our country at ports of entry,” Mayorkas commented.

The solution to this problem is fairly simple. Build the wall, enforce the law.
