BREAKING: India’s Spies Plotted To Assassinate US Citizen As PM Ate With Biden

(Republican Insider) – A new report has emerged that connects India’s government to a failed assassination attempt made in 2023 against an American citizen who heavily criticized the government of India. You know, that’s really not a wise thing to do, generally speaking, but it’s an even worse idea when Trump might be occupying the White House in 2025. He doesn’t forget things nearly as easily as President Joe Biden does. Just putting that out there.

A piece from The Washington Post disclosed that the Research and Analysis Wing, the espionage agency of India’s government, worked closely with a team to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Sikh activist and American citizen. The report went on to divulge that Vikram Yadav, an officer with the intelligence agency, referred to the mission as “priority now,” and declared that as soon as details concerning the subject’s location were made available “it will be a go ahead from us.”

The Western Journal reports, “The Post report said the plotting was taking place even as President Joe Biden was orchestrating a lavish June 22 reception at the White House for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The report said U.S. intelligence agencies ‘assess’ that the plot was likely known to Modi’s national security adviser, Ajit Doval, but noted that “no smoking gun proof has emerged.”

The report mentions that “U.S. and Western security officials said it is unlikely that RAW would have launched such operations without a clear understanding that doing so would be met with approval by the prime minister.”

The assassination plot was ultimately thwarted by the Drug Enforcement Administration after the foreign agent who was trying to kill Pannun ended up hiring a drug dealer to carry out the execution.

“When we were made aware of the fact that the defendant in this case had credibly indicated that he was directed to arrange the murder by an individual who is assessed to be an employee of the Indian Government, we took this information very seriously and engaged in direct conversations with the Indian government at the highest levels to express our concern,” White House National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson went on to explain in a statement, according to NBC.

The Post also stated that India has been very aggressive with assassinations in North America, having linked several Indian government officials to the June 18th murder of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.

“The Post quoted what it said was a ‘Western security official’ as saying India can risk assassinations on American soil ‘because they knew they could get away with it,'” the WJ penned.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has yet to make any sort of official statement concerning the Post’s report. Randhir Jaiswal, who serves as a representative of the ministry, went on to say that assassinations are “not our policy.”

Well, I think Canada’s government and the DEA would beg to differ.
