Chris Pratt Mocks ‘Woke Critics’ After His New Navy Thriller’s Massive Success Proves Them All Wrong

(Republican Insider) – Hollywood and the entertainment industry at large have been totally infected and overrun with woke progressivism, which has transformed film, television, music, and other forms of storytelling into tools for indoctrination, helping to back and support the messages that young people are being taught both in public schools and universities.

Any time there is a show that defies the agenda and refuses to bow the knee to the woke mob, critics magically transform into fire breathing dragons who will rip, tear, shred, and turn that program or film into ash with scathing reviews meant to turn viewers away from watching and supporting said content.

And more often than not, that strategy backfires.

Such is the case with actor Chris Pratt’s newest thriller “The Terminal List” on Amazon Prime. Pratt, an outspoken Christian, has become a favorite target of leftists due to his simple, likable, expression of his faith and his love for his country.

However, according to a report from The Daily Mail, it seems the woke critics who slammed the series, hoping it would disappear off the radar, were left embarrassed, humiliated, and angry after the series ended up jumping over other popular shows to become number 2 on America’s most-streamed shows.

“‘The Terminal List,’ which stars Pratt as a US Navy Seal, racked up a whopping 1.6 billion minutes of streaming on Amazon Prime during the July 4-10 window, which marked the series’ first full week on the service after premiering on July 1,” the report said. “While the show has been a hit with fans, critics showed disdain for the exciting military series.”

One of the progressive dolts who slammed the show was Hollywood Reporter writer Daniel Fienberg who referred to the series as “the entertainment equivalent of a charred hockey puck, with the same limited range of flavor and aesthetics.”

“But the reaction from people who watched the series couldn’t have been more different, with several viewers calling the show ‘great’ and ‘excellent,’ while another noted ‘critics as usual got this one wrong,'” the report revealed.

Film aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, a site that creates two scores for films, one based on critic reviews, the other on viewer reviews, had “The Terminal List” at 40/100 by critics, but featured a shocking 94/100 from viewers.

“The Terminal List looks set to follow in the footsteps of smash-hit ranching drama Yellowstone, which was ignored by critics but watched by millions to become America’s most popular TV show,” the Daily Mail reported.

“Author Jack Carr, who wrote The Terminal List novel on which the adaptation is based, spoke about the discrepancy on Tucker Carlson Tonight in early July, saying ‘It seems to have triggered quite a few of these critics,'” the report stated.

‘We didn’t make it for the critics. We made it for those in the arena. We made it for the soldier, sailor, airman and Marine that went downrange to Iraq and Afghanistan,’ Carr, a former Navy Seal, went on to say.

Pratt shared a link to the Daily Mail report we’ve been citing in this story, which compared his series to “Yellowstone” another extremely popular drama series that critics panned, which touts the 1.6 billion minutes of streams ‘The Terminal List’ wracked up.

The actor then posted the article on his Instagram along with a photo of Dr. Evil from the hit “Austin Powers” franchise, along with the caption, “One point six BILLLLLLLLLLION minutes,” make it clear just how popular the show really is, according to a report from The Daily Wire.

Pratt totally deserves this win, as do the American people, who are constantly bombarded by progressive thought, which hates anything that might look at America or the military in a positive light.

Let’s hope this sends Hollywood a clear message. Create solid stories that don’t get bogged down with politics and we’ll watch the hell out of it.
