Must-See Moment: Peter Doocy Strikes A Nerve With ‘Elderly’ Biden

(Republican Insider) – There’s little doubt that Peter Doocy of Fox News is one of the best White House correspondents in the business, asking the president and his press secretary all the tough questions many other media outlets will not because they are in the Democratic Party’s pocket. Professional propaganda makers are what these reporters have become, helping the left to spin narrative after narrative to support the left and their agenda. It’s sad to see that journalism has fallen so far from the prominent role it played in our country’s early history.

According to The Western Journal, last Thursday evening, President Joe Biden held a press conference following the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigative report into his potential mishandling of classified documents that were discovered at his residence. Hur concluded that Biden “willfully” violated the law by keeping the documents, however, he recommended no charges be filed because Biden would garner sympathy from the jury due to his poor memory.

Basically, the report validated accusations Americans have been making about Biden’s cognitive abilities for years now. And this did not sit well with the president.

During the press conference, Doocy asked Biden, “How bad is your memory, and can you continue as president?”

He got straight to the point, didn’t he? You have to love that kind of pugnacious attitude. That’s the kind of hard hitting journalism that is needed in today’s world. If only there were more out there like Doocy.

“I’m well-meaning, and I’m an elderly man, and I know what the hell I’m doing,” Biden replied. “I’m the president. I put this country back on its feet. I don’t need his recommendations.”

Okay, well, I hate to say this, but the claims made in that pair of sentences are not true. Sorry, not sorry. Doocy then interjected with a question about the quality of Biden’s memory to which the president said, “My memory is so bad that I let you speak.”

“Biden is, predictably, underselling the implications of the 388-page report from special counsel Hur, which is startling in its characterization of the president’s inability to remember basic facts — and not just the felicitous, CYA-tastic ‘I have no recollection of that, counselor’ that stoat-like Beltway politicos have been using to get out of giving straight answers under oath since time immemorial,” the piece stated.

The findings released by Hur are quite disturbing and unsettling.

For example, the report went on to say, “Mr. Biden’s memory also appeared to have significant limitations” that date back to 2017. So this has been going on for a long time, well before the 2020 election. How many Democrats knew he was not quite “all there” so to speak and yet pushed him to run against Trump simply so they could use him as a puppet with name recognition to take down the former president. And this, coupled with election interference, is how Biden got in the White House. All the while, he was not playing with a full deck.

“Mr. Biden’s recorded conversations with Mark Zwonitzer, the ghost writer for Biden’s memoirs, from 2017 are often painfully slow, with Mr. Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries,” the report revealed.

His cognitive abilities were not improved when he sat down to give testimony to the special counsel.

“In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse,” the report remarked. “He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’).”

“He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him. Among other things, he mistakenly said he ‘had a real difference’ of opinion with General Karl Eikenberry, when, in fact, Eikenberry was an ally whom Mr. Biden cited approvingly in his Thanksgiving memo to President Obama,” it added.

I’d say the chances of having a new Democratic Party nominee ahead of the November election are looking pretty good at this point. Don’t be surprised if we have a race featuring former first lady Michelle Obama taking on Trump. That would probably be the left’s smartest move at this point.
