(Republican Insider) – Former Hawaiian congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has once again proven that it is possible for Democrats to use their brains and think through important issues and events unfolding on a daily basis and actually end up on the correct side.
While a federal indictment that alleges twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign spied on Donald Trump, including while he was president, Gabbard is one of the few who is both shocked and speaking out about what kind of action needs to happen next.
Special Counsel John Durham revealed an indictment last week that alleges Clinton’s campaign hired a tech company to “infiltrate” Trump’s computer servers and to spy on him not only while he was a candidate, but while he was president too. Why?
To push forth a false claim and narrative that suggested Trump was working closely with Russia.
According to The Western Journal, Durham’s filing revealed that billing records show the Clinton paid campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann to tap into Trump’s own campaign servers and spy on him. Gabbard commented on these allegations, stating that if they are true, Hillary has to be held accountable for her actions.
“The Durham investigation makes clear that Hillary Clinton and the power elite spied on the Trump campaign and White House, undermining our democracy, launching us into a new Cold War, endangering America and the world. Clinton and her warmongers must be held accountable,” Gabbard stated in a tweet posted on Tuesday, which featured a video clip of her interview on Fox News.

Gabbard is absolutely correct. If Clinton really did spy on Trump, that’s a major violation of our system and is way worse than anything that took place during the infamous Watergate Scandal.
“The Durham filing alleges that the Clinton campaign hatched a plot to infiltrate computer servers at Trump Tower and later the White House in order to cook up a political attack to establish an ‘inference’ and ‘narrative’ linking Trump to Russia, Fox News reported,” the WJ report stated.
The hacked information was then sent over to attorney Michael Sussmann who worked for the Clinton-connected law firm Perkins Coie.
“The Durham investigation also noted that there has been no proof whatsoever to confirm the years of allegations by Clinton and her compliant media that Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to undermine America’s elections,” the report continued.
“The secret hacking of Trump’s servers coincided with the Hillary campaign’s attempts to smear Trump with Russia conspiracies. The Clinton campaign posted a number of tweets alleging that Trump was working for Russia,” WJ added.
A good example comes from Oct. 31, 2016, when Clinton tweeted, “Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank,” and then put out a statement from her campaign’s senior policy holder Jack Sullivan, who now works as Joe Biden’s White House National Security Advisor.
“This could be the most direct link yet between Donald Trump and Moscow,” Clinton operative Sullivan commented. “Computer scientists have uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank.”
The “secret hotline may be the key to unlocking the mystery of Trump’s ties to Russia,” Clinton’s campaign proclaimed. “This line of communication may help explain Trump’s bizarre adoration of Vladimir Putin and endorsement of so many pro-Kremlin positions throughout this campaign,” he went on to say. “It raises even more troubling questions in light of Russia’s masterminding of hacking efforts that are clearly intended to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” the statement finished.

In another post on Twitter, Clinton said that it was “time for Trump to answer serious questions about his ties to Russia.” The former secretary of street then accused Trump of having a “secret server” link to Russia, which we all know now is absolutely false.

“It turns out this was all built on lies and the media helped Clinton push these lies for four years. And that being the case, it isn’t even a little surprising that the story of Durham’s indictment is being ignored by the media,” the report concluded.
